KEEPING ONE FOOT ON THE TRAIN

KEEPING ONE FOOT ON THE TRAIN

INSTRUMENTAL

AS THE DAY BROKE ON A TROUBLED OCEAN
CLOUDS WERE TWIRLING IN THE SKY
I STOPPED AND STOOD AT THE EDGE OF THE WATER
WIND BLUE MY TEARS AWAY

I’VE BEEN UP ALL NIGHT FEELIN KINDA SAD
THESE ARE TRYING TIMES
MY MIND WAS WISHING THE CLOUDS AWAY
LOOKIN FOR A BRAND NEW DAAAYYY HEY (X2 OR X4)
CHORUS
F
C
GG REGGAE

PACKED MY BAGS AND BOARDED THE EVENING TRAIN
HAD TO GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE
DUST WAS RISING BEHIND MY HEELS
NO CLOUDS, NO FEAR, NO CARRRRE
VERSE
ALL I NEEDED WAS SOME PEACE OF MIND
BUT YOU DIDN’T GIVE A DAMN OR CARE
NOW I’M TRAVELLING ON THESE LONELY RAILS
LOOKIN FOR A BETTER LIGHT

CHORUS
LOOKIN FOR A BRAND DAAAYYY HEY (X2)
JUST LOOKIN FOR A BRAND NEW DAY

OPTIMISM
I FOUND MYSELF ON THE OTHERSIDE
I’D LANDED ON MY FEET
FOUND A JOB ON A MOUNTAIN SIDE
I CAN SEE A LONG WAY FROM HERE

BRIDGE
LOOKIN BACK AT THE LONELY TIMES
THERE WAS TOO MUCH ON MY MIND
NOW MY TROUBLES HAVE DISAPPEARED
INTO A BRAND NEW DAY

CHORUS
LOOKIN FOR A BRAND DAAAYYY HEY (X2)
JUST LOOKIN FOR A BRAND NEW DAY

INSTRUMENTAL
